Walking up Cambrias Bridge Street is like strolling
into a quieter, gentler past. Here one can feel what it was once like
to live in the village of Cambria, before all the shops and bustle of
modern times. Several of the old homes on Bridge Street have been torn
down, but the old roses continue to thrive on their own.
In this magnificent print, Melanee has treated us to a spectacular sight.
This grand old climbing rose, a Cecil Brunner, will not be contained.
It blooms in profusion, covering everything it touches with fragrant blossoms.
The old white post and a hint of fence indicate that at one time this
rose was tamed, but not now. The grasses growing wild around it seem to
rejoice at being in such fine company.
